Tianhuayuan's self-developed anode protection shell-type concentrated sulfuric acid cooler began in 1982. At the end of 1984, it successfully produced the first prototype in China. In 1986, it passed the technical appraisal of the Ministry of Chemical Industry to fill the domestic blank of the technology. In 1987, it signed the first national anode protection supply contract with Henan Sanmenxia Gold Smelter. The four anode protection equipments were put into use in 1989 and have been in normal and safe operation for 26 years. Since then, Tianhuayuan has maintained a good market share in the anode protection market.

Thick accumulation, innovation industry development road

In 2000 and 2005, Tianhuayuan successively undertook the special project of “Research and Development of Large-scale Sulfuric Acid Plant Anode Protection Sulfuric Acid Heat Exchanger” and “Static Pressure Groove Acid Distribution Device” issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Aiming at the large-scale and high-temperature absorption process conditions of sulfuric acid plants, a high-temperature large-scale anode-protected sulfuric acid cooler suitable for 60-800,000 tons/year of sulfur-based acid or 600,000 tons/year of smelting flue gas was developed. At that time, Tianhua Institute basically undertook the design and manufacture of all domestic acid-making devices of 600,000 tons/year and operated well.

Be brave to break through and continue to refresh the industry record

In 2006, Tianhuayuan signed a 1630m2 dry acid cooler with Jinchuan Company. In 2010, it signed a 2043m2 dry acid cooler with Daye Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., and signed a 2545m2 dry acid cooler with Double Shield Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. in 2017. Up to now, 9 anode protection acid coolers of more than 1600m2 in sulfuric acid production enterprises have been designed and manufactured by Tianhua Institute.

No ultimate, exploration will continue

Interconnected, Tianhua Institute introduced the "Internet + Service" in the exploration of remote monitoring, early warning and diagnosis systems, enabling the development of remote monitoring systems and acid leakage alarm systems with independent intellectual property rights in Tianhua Institute. At present, Tianhuayuan is continuously exploring the closed-loop operation and seamless connection of the entire product chain of individual design, procurement, manufacturing, sales and after-sales remote monitoring, early warning and maintenance of anode protection equipment, which will eventually reach informationization and automation.
